Meet Laurie
Hard workingFor the last 22 years I’ve worked at Hasbro Children’s Hospital with dedication and integrity. The importance of hard work and respect was a big deal in my family from an early age. I worked my way up from an entry-level position to Academic Administrative Manager. I like helping people and I love this city. This is where I chose to raise my family. Now I'd like to use the skills from my career to make a difference in the city I love. |
TrustedIt was my honor to serve on the Human Rights Council for six years prior to being elected to City Council. It allowed me to work on many projects that align with my passions for transparency, equality, and inclusion. As Chair of the Council on Human Rights, I saw how it serves as a bridge between residents and the administration. While the issues that the Council tackles are varied, my focus has always been on removing obstacles before they become barriers for the city’s residents. |
